Monozygotic Twins

The week just flew by and I am here with another post! Before coming to the main content, you must have read the title of this post. The title says "Monozygotic Twins" which is not a new term it is just another name for identical twins. Most of us have heard or seen identical twins i.e. the children who have the same faces. Today I am going to talk about identical twins in detail. 

We all know that identical twins are children with the same faces, born together, of the same gender. But now the question arises that why are they identical? The reason behind this is that a single fertilized egg splits into two which results in the same characteristics.

Most identical twins have the same weight, height, habits and the  genes. Though identical twins can have different hobbies and interests, the nature of twins can be either exactly the same or exactly the opposite.

Identical twins may have identical features and body parts but the process of their thoughts is different. They may be identical but they have different personalities.

Identical twins are not exactly the same like in every case each of the twin has different fingerprints.

Now, we are going to come to the most interesting fact. Most of us must have seen a movie in which two twins get separated and then later on if one twin gets hurt the other one feels pain too despite of living in different countries. So is that true? Do twins act the same? No. This is just rumor and it is not true. As I said above, twins have their own personalities.
